Sourcing & suppliers

Sourcing from China starts with clear requirements.

Before looking for suppliers, clarify the product, quality, quantity, delivery destination and division of responsibilities. Arclena helps organise these requirements so that quotations can be compared on the same basis.

Tell us what you need

Who is this service for?

For Indonesian businesses that need to buy goods, business supplies or components from China but lack clear specifications, comparable quotations or a team to manage supplier communication.

The service covers first purchases and repeat sourcing. We review the requirements before agreeing the work, deliverables, timing and fees.

How can we help?

We help organise the sourcing process and communication. Each prospective supplier still needs assessment through documents, samples, inspections and contract terms appropriate to the risk.

  • Turn requirements into a specification list and request for quotation (RFQ).
  • Find prospective suppliers suited to the requirements and coordinate product and document clarification.
  • Compare prices, minimum order quantities, samples, production lead times and quotation exclusions.
  • Coordinate samples, independent inspections and delivery follow-up through suitable providers.

The information we need to get started

Send what you already have. Uncertain points can remain open questions rather than estimates presented as final decisions.

  • Product name, intended use, specifications or reference drawings.
  • Quantities, priorities and required dates.
  • Destination city, an indicative budget if available, and the person responsible for decisions.
  • Details of the party handling imports, if already chosen.

How we work

  • Initial review: check the objective, available information and points requiring confirmation.
  • Scope agreement: define tasks, expected deliverables, fees and responsibilities.
  • Step-by-step execution: clarify supplier responses, compare evidence and quotations, then agree the next step.

Deliverables and fees

Deliverables may include an RFQ, supplier shortlist, comparison matrix, clarification notes or follow-up plan. We agree the format in advance so you know what you will receive and what is excluded.

Coordination fees are separate from goods, samples, inspections, travel and logistics costs. The quotation states which work is included and excluded.

Service boundaries

Arclena is not a stockholding seller and does not promise the lowest price, import approval or delivery timing before review. We do not finance purchases or extend buyer credit.

Imports, customs procedures, technical testing and other professional services are carried out by parties that meet the requirements for the specific work. Contracts, payments, quality requirements and each party's responsibilities must be clear before ordering.
